Upon completion of your booking, you will be emailed a Zoom meeting link where you can access the course once it goes live.
You will need a working laptop (with webcam and mic) ideally with Zoom installed. If you have not got Zoom installed you can access the course through an internet browser such as Google, Yahoo, Safari or Bing. Please also ensure that you have an additional device such as a tablet, smartphone or laptop with a webcam capability for your theory assessment. Please also ensure that you have a notepad and pen to take notes.
You will undertake your theory exam using the ‘Qualsafe at Home’ portal. At the time of your exam you will log in and complete the questions whilst we observe you through your additional device’s camera. Once finished you will then submit your exam for marking. If you anticipate that you have any learning difficulties/language barriers that have the potential to disadvantage you from achieving our online mental health awareness qualification, please inform us at the earliest available opportunity so that we are able to make reasonable adjustments for you. These can include extended time for examinations, a scribe to help you complete paperwork or an increase in guided learning hours (GLH). As well as this, we are able to offer coloured paper, overlays and rulers for dyslexic students in addition to personalised 1-2-1 support packages if required. We are also, with reasonable notice, able to provide examinations and supporting material in different languages for ESL students with language barriers.
If you are unsuccessful in passing one of your assessments you will, in the first instance, be provided with detailed feedback from your assessor as to why the relevant assessment criteria were not met on this occasion. You will then receive a support plan with actionable steps to be taken that will enable you to prepare for a reassessment at a later date. Your reassessment date will depend on the specific qualification you are undertaking and so will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Resits are offered to our students completely free of charge as per our MTS Passport peace of mind guarantee.

If you wish to cancel your place on our online mental health awareness course within 3 weeks of the start date, then please note that you will be unable to receive a refund due to our unlikely ability to be able to replace you prior to course commencement. If, however, you wish to swap with someone else then we will we be able to change the name on the booking for you.
