Overview
The RCUK EPALS (European Paediatric Advanced Life Support) course provides healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills required to recognise and manage the deteriorating or critically ill child.
The course focuses on the early recognition and treatment of paediatric respiratory failure, circulatory failure and cardiac arrest, enabling clinicians to stabilise patients and prevent further deterioration.
EPALS combines evidence-based resuscitation guidelines, practical skill stations and simulated clinical scenarios to develop both technical and non-technical skills, including communication and team leadership during paediatric emergencies.
This course is delivered in accordance with the Resuscitation Council UK guidelines and is taught by experienced instructors with extensive clinical backgrounds.
